What does it mean that God is the Savior of all men? This question sits at the heart of one of the most misunderstood truths in all of Scripture, and 1 Timothy 4:9-10 cuts straight through the confusion. In Pastor Paul Chapman's message, Jesus Christ Saviour of the World, this passage presents a bold and balanced declaration: Christ is the Savior of all men, especially those who believe. That single verse dismantles two errors that have crept into the church and the culture alike. On one side, universalism tells us that everyone will ultimately be welcomed into heaven regardless of their response to God. On the other side, a theology of limited atonement insists that Christ died only for a select few. But the full counsel of Scripture refuses both extremes. The price paid at Calvary was sufficient for every human being who has ever drawn breath, and yet the pardon it provides is only applied to those who receive it by faith. We are invited to sit with the weight of that truth and let it reshape how we think about grace, justice, and the love of God.

Walk as Children of Light A wrong thing can become familiar enough that we stop resisting it and begin making excuses for it. Ephesians 5:6-14 calls us to remember the change Christ has made, seek the fruit of His Spirit in our choices, and wake up wherever we have grown careless. This message brings the question of light and darkness into the life we actually live. Christ gives us reason to face sin honestly and help to walk in obedience to Him. God, be merciful to me, a sinner!

Salvation is not the end, but the beginning of a new life and a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Joseph's brothers were forgiven, generously provided for, and commanded to bring their entire family to live near him. In the same way, Christ calls those He saves to leave their old way of life, draw near to Him, and bring others to know Him. God provides what is needed to obey His commands, and His people must walk together in love and unity rather than falling out along the way. Joseph's brothers returned with the wonderful news that he was alive and ruling over Egypt, and the evidence of his provision revived Jacob's hope. Likewise, the risen Christ gives His people new life, provides for their needs, and promises to bring them to be with Him forever.
