Hello and welcome to Hope From the Word with Pastor Bill Luebkemann of Calvary Chapel of Marlton. You've no doubt heard the old saying “to err is human and to forgive is divine.” Today on Hope From the Word we will be studying the New Testament epistle of Philemon. In that letter, written by Paul, the apostle asks his friend to forgive someone who had wronged him greatly. This is a difficult and challenging thing to do isn't it? It's perhaps the hardest thing in the world to do, but it's our calling as Christians to forgive. Put another way, unforgiveness is at the root of so many problems we face in our relationships with one another. So, to help us with this issue let's join Pastor Bill as he begins this very important teaching.
