  • Mistic - The Yard
    MISTIC - Formation Records, UK
Our second Artist Feature during Black History Month is London, UK based producer - MISTIC aka Omowale Gordon.
Omowale signed exclusively to Formation in 2020 and has a ruthless amount of bangers on deck that we are really excited to release. Upon hearing his tunes you can tell right away this man has a natural ear for music and is a highly skilled producer ready to shake up the game after putting in years and years to perfect his craft.
Immersing himself deep into music production over 12 years ago Mistic took it seriously at first step with a goal of no limitations to what could be accomplished with it and not adhering to any particular genre. As a result, this DJ/Producer has seen several sides of the industry and developed a mature sound that holds a grimey street vibe wrapped up in super clean delivery.
Mistic has worked with numerous artists across a spectrum of styles and media producing everything from Drum & Bass to Pop. Not stopping at production he became a skilled engineer along the way engineering everything from full-length albums to movies.
Not being held down to any particular set of rules and with the skill he has, Mistic’s badman tunes will keep coming and coming and we see no stopping him. Look out for his tune on our full-length compilation Back To Jungle & his own EP coming first. Big up the badman Mistic every time!
