The Director of Public Prosecutions in KwaZulu Natal has issued former President Jacob Zuma with a nolle prosequi certificate. This is after the Public Prosecutions declined to prosecute Advocate Billy Downer due to insufficiency of evidence. The certificate allows individuals to institute private prosecution proceedings.
