Loving On Purpose

Forming New Habits

Listen Later

In order to view your life from a more positive perspective, you need to manage your brain.  Learning to mange our brain takes practice.  When we practice something consistently, it becomes routine, or a new habit.  I find to form a new habit I have to be intentional and I have to desire the benefit it will bring me, not someone else.  Bettering ourselves doesn't happen by accident.  One of the benefits of forming a new habit is that it increases our self confidence.  When our self confidence builds, our ability to deal with the challenges of life builds also.  Admiral McRaven at a commence speech at the University of Texas said, "If you can't do the little things right, you will never do the big things right."  In this episode I share with you the steps to form a new habit and also how it can improve your relationship with your adult children.

I am no longer offering my 8-week coaching program, but I remain fully committed to supporting parents of adult children. If you have questions or need guidance, you’re welcome to reach out to me directly at [email protected].

I would be honored to help you find greater confidence and happiness in your life
