After watching the Monaco Grand Prix this month, I couldn't help but wonder....what makes a good race? What makes a good track? What am I missing? I play detective this week to investigate the reasons why some tracks produce better racing than others, and ultimately, why it is considered "good". Today's episode is what I'd like to call "special edition". I pull from a  class project and expand on an exciting conversation about sponsorships and pay drivers in the motorsport world, and how the role of money intertwines with both areas.
I chat about the specific examples of Nicholas Latifi, Lance Stroll, and Nikita Mazepin to better understand the unique position of drivers such as these, and how the monetary incentive they present to teams affords them certain advantages or disadvantages in Formula One.
