The Indiana high school soccer season officially kicked off this weekend with a couple of big-time match ups on day one on both the boys and girls sides. Just days before that, the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Pre-Season State Rankings were released. Is your team on the list? How did they do this weekend?

Fort Wayne played two exciting and excruciatingly long matches in Flint, Michigan this weekend during the USL2 Central Conference playoffs. Both matches were decided after 30 minutes of extra time. Despite keeping a clean sheet through 117 minutes of the semifinal match, including a saved penalty by Aurie Briscoe, Fort Wayne was knocked out of the playoffs by Flint City with a scoreline of 2-0.

Fort Wayne FC did not leave their playoff fate to chance in their final regular season match of the season coming away with a 4-0 victory over Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati. With the win, FWFC was crowned division champions for the third year in a row and are headed to the USL 2 playoffs this coming weekend.
