There is a Natural Order to the universe of death and resurrection. An endless cycle! My assumption is somewhere along your journey, someone has said something to you, hurt you, left you, wounded you, broken your heart & still from time to time the memories will resurface. So the weight you have been carrying & has crushed you, that has held you captive, the only way to move beyond it is to let go of it.

The means by which Satan brings the world to death is sin. Sin is the rebellion of humankind against the vocation to reflect God’s image into the world, the refusal to worship God the creator & replace that worship & vocation by worshipping the creation & the less of our image-bearing human-ness which is the inevitable result. Death is not an arbitrary punishment for sin… it is the necessary consequence—in much the same way the necessary outcome of a sinless life is resurrection
