Case Study : Incubez-les tous ! 5 ans après, quel bilan ?

A l’heure où émergent de nouveaux programmes de stratégies culturelles urbaines, de nouveaux projets d’incubateurs d’entreprises culturelles ainsi que des outils innovants pour développer des marchés sur d’autres territoires, European Lab Pro propose de découvrir chaque jour deux études de cas européens et de prendre du recul sur ces initiatives en les mettant en perspective avec la réalité politique et économique du secteur à travers des temps de bilan prospectifs.

Incubateurs, espaces de co-working, fablabs, pépinières, accélérateurs de start-ups fleurissent depuis quelques années et traduisent un engouement retrouvé pour l’entrepreneuriat en Europe. Cinq ans après le début de cette effervescence, se pose plus que jamais la question de leurs accomplissements mais aussi de leur pérennité à long-terme.

Un case-study pour revenir sur plusieurs années d’expérimentation des dispositifs d’incubation en Europe, ainsi qu’une réflexion collective sur l’évolution administrative et juridique des structures.

We are currently witnessing the continued emergence of new urban culture strategy programmes, new cultural enterprise incubators and new innovative tools to develop fresh markets in different territories. Against this backdrop, European Lab Pro is providing attendees the chance to find out about two different European case studies each day, and to reflect upon these initiatives as seen through the lens of political and economic realities, in the form of a prospective progress report.

For several years we have been witnessing the growing emergence of incubators, co-working spaces and fablabs, organisations that nurture and kickstart start-up companies. It is a phenomenon that reflects Europe’s renewed enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.

Now is the perfect time, five years on from the start of this surge, to both analyse their achievements and assess their long-term sustainability.

This case study will look back over a handful of years of European experimentations with cultural incubation tools, as well as collectively analysing the administrative and legal development of these structures.
