At Forward City Church, we want you to know God, and if it's going to take wrestling with your doubts and questions, we want to wrestle along side you.

It is terribly easy for people to attend church gatherings Sunday after Sunday, and call themselves Christians, and spend their entire lives ignoring the fact that they don't actually believe what they say they do. This is tragic! Actually knowing Christ transforms your life, but pretending won't. 

Join us this September (2021), as we tackle the questions many people in the world and in our church family wrestle with.

This message encourages us to see the redemption God brings to Samson's life, and reminds us to see failure clearly — as a single event, not an identity. We will fail God on this side of heaven, but that is never the end of the story. This very day, we get to choose to honour God and trust He will redeem every mistake, and every trial.

This message reminds us that Samson's infamous foolishness is renowned in spite of decades of leadership in Israel (Judges 16:31). This mirrors so many falls from disgrace. Would-be legacies of greatness are ruined step by step; choice by choice. 

God's word encourages us to walk closely and humbly with Christ, so that we may finish well.

This message takes a looks at Samson's struggle with managing his emotions, the ways his lack of self-control brought him grievous consequences, and his inability to acknowledge his role in his demise. It also offers us hope in the One who created our emotions.

This Father's Day message takes us through the life of Samson, so that we can learn from his mistakes. It also urges us to bask in the grace God poured on us at the cross, and the power given to us through the Holy Spirit.

You are not in this alone, and we can be the people God called us to be in Christ. We pray you would believe and see God at work in and through.

Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.  Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.
