When we talk purpose, the one thing we have forgotten about is the BALANCE! Oh my, it's such a needed thing. If you don't have balance, it's hard to stay focused on your purpose! 

This week, we'll have Samantha Edu coming on to talk with us about the importance of finding balance while walking in your purpose. 

In 2012, Mrs. Edu’s passion for educating women on the reality of mental health was ignited by the women that she came across on a daily basis.  She started speaking to women as The Lady and Her Hats. The Lady and Her Hats is a tribute to women that “wear a lot of hats.”  Every woman that we meet is a Hat Lady, which means she can be reached out to and educated on the realities of mental health issues.  The Lady and Her Hats has set out on a mission to be an open book of the issues that have been ignored for generations by doing speaking engagements, educational social media, and workshops.

Despite her many hats, Samantha’s passion will forever lie in providing traditional individual counseling in nontraditional ways. Counseling should not feel like a punishment, it should be a unique relationship between counselor and client aiming to promote the client on their journey towards healing and positive change.

Purpose is as purpose does!! The first half of the year is over and it's time to celebrate how far we've come and where we're going! Marcella D. Moore affectionately known as "Cella D" has been inspiring and empowering women for more than two decades.  Marcella is an inspirational speaker, author and mentor who loves to speak life and encouraging words to others.  Through workshops, seminars and tele-conferences she uplifts members of her audience with powerful words that inspire them to reach new heights.

She is the founder and facilitator of the weekly Motivate and Pray empowerment call and the monthly “Caring for the Caregiver” support call.  Both calls serve as a resource for motivation, inspiration, empowerment, encouragement and prayer.  Marcella is also the co-author of the recently released “Tainted Elegance: Simply Beautiful” book; a book that gives women the courage to say “I love who I am.”
