Uncertainty presents opportunity.

In chapter 10 of the Story, Pastor Kelly Armstrong tells the story of Hannah, Samuel, and Israel's first king - Saul. Instead of following God's plan, the Israelites insist on being like everyone else.

It's what's written on the pages that tells the whole story.

This week, Pastor Rick Sherman is back to tell the story of Ruth, who finds redemption after suffering much loss.

Choose joy or chase happiness.

In part 8 of the Story, Pastor Kelly Armstrong talks about trusting God for happiness, as the Israelites struggle to be content with God's provision.

God is working upstream in your life.

This week, Pastor Kelly Armstrong dispels some myths about the apparent disparity between the wrathful God of the Old Testament and the loving God of the New Testament, as the Israelites finally enter the Promised Land, but find it inhabited by enemies.

If you're looking ahead, you'll move ahead.

No amount of adversity can stop God.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good...

In part 3 of The Story, Pastor Kelly Armstrong lays out the life of Joseph, from his early days as his father's favorite son (and his brothers' most hated sibling), to his time as Potiphar's servant, his imprisonment, and ultimately to his appointment as Pharaoh's second-in-command. Joseph spent a lot of his life waiting on God, but God had a plan.

Faith turns us into a blessing.

This week, Pastor Kelly Armstrong walks us through chapter 2 of The Story, which is all about God's promise to Abraham and the importance of faith. Sometimes faith feels blind, but God knows things we don't know and sees things we can't see.
