Shame is an emotion that will either cripple us or lead us to God’s grace. Grace is the antidote to the venom of shame.

The enemies goal is to bring us down, his game plan is to do it with lies. He’s been lying to us from the beginning of time. But the truth we stand on today will determine the lies you fall for tomorrow.

We need to make sure that fear, prejudice and stereotypes don’t ruin our joyful freedom in living and working and worshipping and relaxing and eating with fellow followers of Jesus who are different from ourselves.

As a church we need to be constantly helping each other in our ignorance, having conversations, raising awareness, challenging each other, and always asking the Holy Spirit to give us power to break divides.
