We save for the future, pursue success, protect what we have, and make plans to avoid uncertainty. These things may offer a measure of stability, but they cannot guarantee peace, preserve our health, or secure tomorrow. When the unexpected happens, the foundations we trusted can suddenly feel fragile. In this episode of the Fountain of Life Podcast, we will explore what Jesus teaches about false security, right priorities, and being rich toward God. We will also consider how trusting God, seeking His purpose, and living with eternity in view can free us from anxiety and give us a foundation that does not collapse when life becomes uncertain. Jesus told the parable of the rich fool to remind us of the importance of setting the right priorities in life. But, here is a question for all of us to consider: if God blessed you with more than enough today, would your first thought be about your possessions, your comfort, and your future—or about God’s purpose for your life? The rich man’s failure was not that he experienced increase or desired growth—after all, it is God who gives the power to prosper. His real problem was the story he told himself about his success. Instead of seeing his abundance as an opportunity to honor God, serve others, and prepare for eternity, he focused only on the here and now. His heart was in the wrong place because he made plans for his possessions but gave no attention to the destiny of his soul. In today’s episode, we will explore what this parable teaches us about purpose, priorities, and living with eternity in view.

S07E13: The Seeds In A Good Ground

Welcome to today's Episode of the Fountain of Life Podcast. In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus gives us more than an agricultural illustration—He compares the different ways the Word of God is recieved into the human Heart. The same seed is sown, but the outcome depends on the conditions of the soil. In this concluding episode, we focus on the final soil Jesus described - the good ground. This is the heart that is open, receptive, free from the hindrances that choke growth, and prepared to nuture the Word of God until it produces Fruit. Yet even among the good-ground hearers, the harvest was not the same: some produced thirtyfold, some sixtyfold and others a hundredfold. That reminds us that while we may not all be fruitful to the same degree, every believer is called to bear fruit. Join me as we explore what it means to become good and fertile ground for the word of God. As you listen today, I invite you to come with an open heart, ask the LORD to shouw you the condition of your heart and the areas where his Word is already beginning to take root. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, there is room to grow, room to be strenghetend  and room to become more fruitful. S07E12: The Seeds Among Thorns

Welcome to today's Episode of the Fountain of Life Podcast. In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus gives us more than an agricultural illustration—He gives us a spiritual diagnosis of the human heart. The same seed is scattered, the same word is released, but the outcome is not the same because the condition of the soil is not the same. Today, we focus on the seed that fell on thorns: the heart that receives the word but the cares of this world out-compete the seed and prevents it from getting nutrients and therefore withers. On the surface, there is excitement,  but beneath that shallow layer of soil, there are competing interest which remains untouched. And when pressure comes—when trials, temptation, opposition, or disappointment rise like the heat of the sun—the plant withers because it has no deep root. This is one of the most sobering lessons in the parable: spiritual growth is not sustained by emotion alone. It requires depth, grounding, endurance, and a heart willing to let God’s word penetrate beyond the surface. So what does stony ground look like in our lives today? How can we recognize shallow faith before pressure exposes it? And how do we allow God to break up the hidden rocks in our hearts so His word can take root and bear lasting fruit?
