A broken-beat ode to small, country sweet shops. Taking a back seat from their usual high paced techno, Penny Sweets is a jazzy, rose-tinted dedication to being young. A euphoric and uplifting breakbeat that rings in a sense of joy and nostalgia on easier times. Midlands League show their diversity and talent with this latest release.

Dublin based producer Hank LW gives us an hour of strictly wave and electro. Some of these tracks have been very influential in his productions, especially in his most recent EP release, Disguises. Hank took this approach to his Local Selection was to keep it exciting and unique, and he did just that.

Hank is a DDR resident where he has currently began his most recent venture with Sputnik One titled Mixed Media. Hank has some exciting releases coming out this year so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Pagan is back with another release, which we're delighted to premiere.

Comet on Sundays’ shows off a heavier more gritty side to his style than we are used to, whilst maintaining an emphasis on powerful melody and use of abnormal synths that we associate with him.

Pagan has been increasingly active on the Irish circuit and has pushed his involvement with the launch and growth of his collective LOST and regular slots over the festival season including Life & Higher Vision.

Max Ivory steps up for the latest Local Selection with an hour of breaks, grime, dub and techno leading us on a diverse and more unique route for the series. The mix also features some exciting tracks from upcoming Irish artists such as Outl1er, Sputnik One and Dylan Forbes, who was last weeks guest on the series. Two of the tracks in this mix are also part of the new 'SafeHaus Selects' Soundcloud series which will see the Dublin based collective invite some of their residents, guests and friends to release music under the brand.

Take a journey into inner space with Irish producer Tr One on the opening “1.2.9”, where the Irish producer delivers a typically deep, mood-enhancing trip through his machines. Terse percussion and handclaps off-set a driving, funk-induced bass-line, all of which is enveloped by distant, yet warm pads, bringing the listener in various directions at the one time. “Dedication” maintains the opener’s sense of eerie intensity, this time with a lighter melodic touch returning the music, and the listener, back out into the open air.

Dylan Forbes has been an active name on the Dublin circuit for the last few years and has been playing across the city with the Human Error collective. He has been putting out productions and releases under both his own name and under his alias 'Patrice & Evra' with fellow Human Error resident and previous 'Local Selection Selector' Aero. Dylan is known for his diverse style of DJing and production from house to breaks to electro and techno and is definitely a strong emerging talent who we recommend paying close attention to over the next while.

Efa is best known for her eclectic and creative sets that combine her love for futuristic electronica with rave-era sounds. Her versatile style has lead her to play alongside a broad range of artists such as LSDXOXO, Avalon Emerson, Or:la, Sync24 & Prosumer. In addition to headliner club gigs and festivals throughout Ireland, she has made regular appearances on NTS London, Redlight Radio and Balamii. Making her international club debut at London’s Pickle Factory for the Secretsundaze crew and with more recently more international show's including the UK and Ibiza.
