This podcast focuses on John Constantine, the Hellblazer. For those of you who are into dirty, pathetic, destructive characters, this is a "hero" for you. His ties to punk rock and alternative cultures made him a perfect transition from the realistic characters that we have been tackling lately. John Constantine is the man that you want to be around, knowing that he is very much bad for your health. He is the reluctant hero and leader of the Justice League Dark, and although he has a rough exterior, he is as much a hero as any flawed human being can be.

This week the Four Horsemen of Rhetoric talk about Kick-Ass, so, as the title suggests, explicit language is to follow! Kick-Ass asks the question, "Why has nobody ever tried to be a superhero?" Kick-Ass becomes a movement for change and to do better and proves that anybody can be a hero, its all about discipline and moral intent. So now, everyone, go and do what you can for your community and to better yourself and rant rant rant, preach preach preach...but honestly. Kick-Ass embodies Nerd Culture and empowers us all! So without further ado...Mr. Kick-Ass

This week's choice comes from Flameskid. The podcast consists of the analyzation of the superhero Static and his comic and cartoon iterations. We focused on most of the aspects that makes him an important and relatable character, especially in modern day society. His story is one of a teen who feels out of place but has greatness and responsibility thrust upon him, all while being an under-represented minority in the world of comics and popular culture.

As our first podcast of the year, Horsemen German picked the Teen Titans as the first subject. The Teen Titans are a group of teenagers that are trying to prove to their superhero counterparts that their age does not mean that they are unfit for battle and saving the world. This podcast shows many allegorical connections and proves that no matter how young you are, you can always make a difference in your community.

This is the end of the year podcast in which we have a 3 on 3 debate on whether Marvel or DC Comics will reign as Publisher Supreme for 2016. The Four Horsemen of Rhetoric talk about perhaps the most influential graphic novel known to man and women. Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons is a masterpiece that deconstructs superhero culture in its own right, and thus makes the analyzation imminent and powerful. Watchmen paved the way for our heroes to delve into darker, grittier territory and took ideological and philosophical rhetoric to new heights in the 1980s. Analyzation starts at roughly 19:20.
