Listen as Joe Burrows shows us how this Psalm is broken down into three parts: the depth and reality of our sin, what God does for his people, and God's continued faithfulness.
Listen as we look at 1 John 5:6-21 where John doesn’t speak his own thoughts or ideas. He bears witness to the testimony of another… God Himself! in today's message, "Testimony of God" .
Listen as we look at 1 John 5:1-5 = "Faith Love Odebience" about the mature in Christ who understand that God’s ways are the best ways for our lives. His commands are not an intrusion into our existence. They are a blessing that keeps us within His ways.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). John corroborates with this truth by telling us that we cannot believe every spirit - listen as we explore this in I John 4:1-20.
Here in I John 3 we see those born of God will not hate or murder, but instead love their brothers. We know that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, but we see again in John that love is the fruit that points to true salvation.
