Paul Russell joins in to share his journey and knowledge of volleyball. Also as you may know he is the brother of our very own Peter Russell. Paul talks about his journey through volleyball. The hardships of his career, journey to George Mason. We also got the brothers doing a little bit of family questioning at the end. Paul has alot of knowledge and talent in the game of volleyball. Here how he translates it to a successful season with Mason.
Matt August joins the boys and discusses his times in India, Czech, and his time spent with Team USA. He discusses his time coaching at Denver and explains the excitement behind the new league in India called prime. From lowering the nets to sets to 15, and super points. Matt Buffum joins the pod to discuss his experience in volleyball. He comes from the midwest but many would say is an honorary east coast volleyball from his time sepnt playing at elmira, big east coast out door tournaments, and now with team freedom the powerhouse NVA team. He is one creative middle who is a true student of the game. Pete, Callaway, and Brandon jump on to catch up on GCU top #10 season so far. The insane scheduling made by Erskine. They played 2 away matches in California. One at 10am another at 6pm at different away arenas. Is this maximizing scheduling or asking to much from the athletes??
LAUREN IS A FREAKING CHARACTER!! We were so lucky to get her on and she was so fun to talk too. She goes toe to toe with Micah Ma'a for best stories. On top of her being fun she also is a baller and discuss her path, goal of the olympics, and her future as a pro.
