Could Kentucky miss the NCAA tournament?

The Wildcats have now lost four straight with their most recent loss to No. 10 Auburn on Wednesday.  It remains their longest losing streak under head coach John Calipari and it may not get much easier down the stretch.  Sitting at 17-9 overall, Kentucky remains in the NCAA tournament but could that change down the stretch? 

Their next opponent is against Alabama over the weekend, with matchups against Arkansas on the road, Missouri, Ole Miss, and on the road against Florida still on to go.  How many wins do you see Kentucky winning right now?  Some may only see one against the Rebels, others may see a few more.  But if the losing streak continues, where could the Wildcats fall.  Does 18-13, 7-11 get you into the tournament? 

Does Cincinnati finally fall in conference play?

Cincinnati might have already locked up the American Conference in some minds, sitting at 12-0 and now winning 16 straight so far.  But is it time for another Top-5 team to fall this week, as they hit the road to take on Houston Thursday night?

The Bearcats still have two games against Wichita State to end their season but the Cougars have been strong at home (12-0 on the season) and already gave Cincinnati trouble on the road the first time around (held 40-37 halftime lead).  But it still remains a big week for Cincinnati, as they can wrap up the regular season in a tough American conference and still be in line for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Arizona State vs. Arizona, Round 2

The last time these two met, the Sun Devils were one of the hottest teams to start of the season, as they had risen to to No. 3 in the country while the Wildcats were sitting at No. 17.  It was the first loss Arizona State suffered and now they sit at 7-6 in the conference, as they seek revenge against the Wildcats.

After falling to 4-6 in the Pac-12, the Sun Devils have now reeled off three straight wins with their offense getting back on track (averaging 85 points in that span).  Arizona was able to end their two-game losing streak with a win again USC but now face a tough test in three straight road games.
