  • ESPN Charlotte Helping Homeless Vets

    ESPN 730 is accepting donations for men's hygiene products in a new effort to help Charlotte area homeless and low income veterans. Every day leading into 4th of July holiday, listeners can stop by the ESPN 730 studios with donations of men's hygiene products!

    Supportive Services for Veteran Families is a service of Community Link's Homeless to Housing program and will be the beneficiary of this donation drive.

    Donations items needed are shaving cream, after shave, deodorant, toothpaste, and hair brushes!

    Branden Lewis, the Program Director of Veteran Services for Community Link, spoke with Inside the Lines to discuss ways people can support the program and how ESPN Charlotte's donation will help their clients. 

    The drop off location for these donations is 201 W. Morehead St. (ESPN Charlotte studios)
