Australians over the age of 30 will have access to a fourth dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine as early as today.
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation will recommend fourth doses for anyone over the age of 50, and allow anyone over the age of 30 to have another booster shot, if they wish to have one.
Deakin University chair of epidemiology Professor Catherine Bennett said health authorities originally thought a third dose would be good enough to prevent contracting COVID-19.
