How any self-respecting person can continue to identify as a conservative or Republican these days, when the intellectual leadership of the movement consists of the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump, is one of the great mysteries of our time.  We now understand why Trump, during his presidency, was for a time so fixated on toilets, and how he seemed to have trouble flushing them sufficiently.  And MJT is confused by the difference between Hitler's Secret Police and chilled tomato soup.
