FOX News Rundown Extra: Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy's Mission To Save America's Restaurants

Dave Portnoy made a name for himself launching the Barstool Sports empire which has become known over the years for its popular website, podcasts and video content that covers sports, pop culture, the stock market and gambling.

However, during the coronavirus pandemic he's gained even more attention by helping raise millions of dollars for struggling small businesses with the Barstool Fund. You many have seen some of the restaurant owners from across the country on both local and national broadcasts thanking him for saving their livelihoods with his free publicity and generous donations.

Dave Portnoy appeared on The FOX News Rundown earlier this week to discuss the Barstool Fund. He told host Chris Foster what inspired it, how it has grown so quickly and other actions he has taken to help businesses.

Portnoy also discussed his career and the things that put him on the map: sports and gambling.
