Join the Corps of Discovery in this exciting blend of stories and song, journal excerpts and American Indian folklore. Equal parts stand-up comedy and musical theater, this program focuses on the scientific discoveries of the Corps of Discovery. Encountering grizzly bears and collecting soil samples, capturing prairie dogs and hunting for antelope, Lewis catalogued 122 new animal species and 178 new plants. In this original performance Fox sings the praises of the geology, diverse flora and fauna, and the web of life that binds us to the land. The expedition was first and foremost a scientific expedition and this program brings the scientific process to life.

This year marks the 175th anniversary of the founding of our little Utopia on the Prairie, Bishop Hill, Illinois. Jonas Olson was one of the founding members. His personal story is also a universal story of the struggles and successes of all immigrants seeking a better life here in America. August 28, 2021 I will be performing a longer version of this program at our annual Chautauqua.

With his birthday just a few weeks away and my new book available on Amazon, I thought I would share my portrayal of one of the world’s most influential thinkers whose ideas changed the many aspects of our society, Charles Darwin. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089D34VSH/
