The average BPM of Frontiers is slowly creeping up, but I'm not complaining. Trance music is where my roots are, and I'm glad I've naturally found a way to have slower, melodic house coexist with it. I even managed to include a couple psy trance songs in this episode. Enjoy.

The initial premise behind Frontiers was to make DJ mixes that were more than just a weekly/monthly showcase of the latest music - I wanted to make something people (including myself) could enjoy listening to again and again. While the formula for that has undergone revisions and iterations over the last 49 episodes, the underlying principle hasn't.

For this month's episode, I wanted to experiment a little. Rather than have one downtempo track, why not have...four? Instead of starting at 120bpm, why not start around 100? Variety keeps things interesting, and this was a REALLY fun challenge for me to put together that I think serves as a pleasant deviation to listen to from my norm as well.
