1. Jesus at Work
   • Jesus softens hearts, therefore divorce is no longer acceptable
2. Children
   • Jesus "bringing many children to glory"
3. The Anti-Creativity of Satan
   • Jesus says: "Let the children come to me"
   • The devil is against children being brought into God's glory. One of his tactics, is just to contracept children away.

From the 6:00pm Mass on Sunday, September 29, 2024, the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B, at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak.

1. The Cost
2. Giving it All to the Lord
3. Mercy
   • God's almighty power and love is shown "above all by pardoning and showing mercy." (Collect for the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Conclusion: Letting the Lord be the Lord:

• Am I striving to bring every aspect of my life under the lordship of Christ? If it's not under His Lordship, it under someone else's (the devil's).

• Let's pray for the grace to pick up the right crosses (not all crosses lead us to Jesus), and then the stregnth to pick them up and follow Jesus
