Today we had mass at Santiago de Compostela and it was the pilgrims Mass that icon celebrated. So unfortunately, there was no homily recorded, but hopefully this reflection is helpful to you.

The Fatima apparitions continued for Lucia despite no longer being in Fatima. She entered into religious life at Pontevedra. There our Lord, and our Lady appeared to her, revealing the First Five Saturday’s devotion. We were blessed to be there during the hundredth anniversary of those apparitions which included a special plenary indulgence opportunity. Listen to my homily to learn more.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the original homily that I gave in Fatima was lost. However, I did my best in this recording to capture the main points of that homily. So, please listen and learn about Fatima and the power of prayer.

Having arrived in Lisbon Portugal, the sightseeing began. First, a stop at the Church of Saint Anthony of Lisbon, followed by a visit to the Church of the Most Holy Miracle in Santarem, Portugal for the two Eucharistic Miracles that took place there. Lastly, the pilgrimage group went to Fatima.

The first day was a travel day. It’s a great opportunity to reflect upon what a pilgrimage is and why people go on it please listen to this reflection to better understand pilgrimages.

God reveals how He had gone through careful preparations in order for the vineyard to bear good fruit in our first reading and Jesus builds upon that imagery in our Gospel passage. Listen to my homily to consider in what ways we can better bear good fruit!

We’re all called to do the Will of the heavenly Father, but sometimes we say no to God in choosing sin. In our Gospel passage, Jesus explains that we can change our minds. We are able to repent and be forgiven. Listen to my homily to learn more!

Our readings point to a beautiful reality of our faith, and that is forgiveness. Jesus reveals the tremendous and awesome merciful forgiveness of God, but he also challenges us to be merciful and forgiving to each other. Listen to my homily to learn more!
