Fractured Fables

The party finally comes face-to-face with PiPi Salva, the mysterious man from the dinner party that went from lavish to horrifying in record time.

They don’t know much about him, except that he somehow knows everything, loves a good card game, and never offers information without a price attached.

Now the party has to figure out what they can learn, what it’ll cost them, and whether Everett can finally justify carrying around that deck of cards this whole campaign.

Charlie survived getting launched into a wall, technically, and Ami is doing her best to keep her conscious and emotionally stable. Meanwhile, Everett and Siddy immediately decide the best course of action is chasing the Redgraves through a hospital at full speed.

Their search leads somewhere completely normal and not horrifying at all: the morgue. Because if you need to contact a necromancer, surrounded by corpses is apparently the ideal setting. Even better? Charlie is on her way, Charlie a wizard who attracts ghosts like a porch light attracts moths. At least she has Ami to keep her safe.

Now the party just has to survive the hospital, the spirits, the necromancer, and whatever is happening to Charlie’s mind.

The party heads to the hospital in the rich side of town with one simple goal: get Morty into Windeer’s dreams and finally learn what she knows.

Easy enough.

Assuming they can sneak into her room, survive sharing a dream with Charlie, and avoid causing a scene in one of the fanciest hospitals in the city.

Of course, bringing a certified ghost magnet into a hospital full of lingering spirits couldn’t possibly go wrong.

The party finally slows down long enough to do the most terrifying thing imaginable: talk to each other. Armed with new truths about themselves, the wizards, and the growing danger around them, they might finally have enough information to make a plan.

There’s just one problem; this group has spent five years avoiding honest conversations like the plague, and nobody wants to hold the sharing stick. Can the party work through their issues long enough to save themselves and maybe the entire city?

The party is finally ready to call it a night.

Back at the magic shop, Astrid has everything prepared—beds made, blankets ready, and for once, everyone is staying together. After everything they’ve been through, a full night of uninterrupted sleep should be the easiest thing in the world.

No splitting up.

No chaos.

No surprises.

Just rest.

Right?

The party is back in the magic shop and everything is about to fall apart.

Exhausted, shaken, and down two members, they’re now trapped in a room full of very powerful magic users with tension so thick it might as well be a spell of its own.

All it would take is one wrong word—

one wrong move—

and this turns into a fight no one is ready for.

Can the party keep it together long enough to survive the night?

Or is this where everything finally breaks?

Siddy’s night takes a sharp detour when Rowan and Derek rush her outside alongside Julian—no explanations, just urgency.

Rowan gives her one warning: this is a one-way trip.

What follows is a wild, disorienting ride that Siddy wisely spends with her eyes shut… and when it finally stops, she’s somewhere else entirely.

An old castle.

Unfamiliar.

Unsettling.

Now alone, Siddy has one goal: find the rest of the party—and figure out what’s waiting for them on the other side of the door.

The party barely has time to react before everything goes wrong.

Siddy is missing.

Silas is shouting.

And in the chaos, Everett finds something no one was prepared for—

A portal made of blood.

With no time to think, she calls for Charlie and Ami… and jumps in.

They follow immediately—just as it snaps shut behind them.

Now the party is somewhere else entirely. Not the Chathorne estate, but a place far darker… and far bloodier.

A new maze.

No clear way out.

And something waiting at the end.

The party has entered the most dangerous battlefield of all: a noble dinner party.

Now it’s a game of whispers and side-eyes, with everyone working their own angle. Ami holds the head of the table, uncovering truths about her family, Everett is playing the part perfectly, Siddy is deeply concerned about the lack of food, and Charlie is… very distracted by Athena.

Secrets are circling, alliances are shifting, and one very important question hangs in the air—

Where is Windeer?

Will the party uncover anything useful before dinner ends?

Or are they about to leave with more questions than answers?

The party has one simple plan:

sit down, have dinner, ask the right questions… and don’t start a fight.

Except they’ve somehow split up in the same room, each chasing leads on the mysterious wizards tied to the Cataclysm—their best shot at answers.

Charlie is a little too focused on Athena, Ami is busy questioning her newly discovered half-siblings (and their very suspicious ages), Siddy is battling full-blown social anxiety, and Everett is realizing her date might be the most in-demand person at the party.

So the question is—

Can they gather any useful information?

Or will this carefully planned dinner turn into another beautifully chaotic disaster?
