Joe Aulik Brown County Veterans Service Officer came on the podcast to talk about the various veteran benefits and compensation. There is so much information surrounding veteran benefits veterans and families need to know where to go and who to talk with. Most states have CVSOs and TVSO's. Please reach out and find your CVSO and introduce yourself. They are not the VA, they are your county advocate and resource.

Dan was very candid and honest about his feelings and opinions. This was a very insightful podcast and discussed a lot of topics that many veterans don't want to talk about. Chris came on the podcast to discuss his "old job" as he puts it. Chris doesn't really talk about his service but I kindly persuaded him to come share his story. Chris was very candid with his story, opinions, thoughts, feelings. He shared some very personal stories about getting arrested and sitting in jail but also some of his failures. He loves to fish and hunt. He is avid Muskie fisher. Chris is an incredible asset to the veteran community. He gives back when he can. He volunteers to help others that are able to help themselves. He also a great father.

Josh Steffens Owner of Hollywood Powder Co came on the podcast on Veterans Day. Josh has served for the last 15 years and is still serving our great state and country. Josh and I talked about his beginnings, path into service, deployments, and being a business Owner. Josh dropped some great knowledge and opinions which were very refreshing and awesome. Brothers Danny and Jimmy Zientek were on the podcast. They shared their humble beginnings and how the military helped cultivate their lives. Danny and Jimmy really opened up about service, deployments, losses, and transitioning. We talked about the fog of war. They are 2 of 4 sons that served in the military. Jimmy shares a story of how he got to leave his base to welcome his younger brother to Kuwait at the hight of the Iraq War. Veterans Day is a sacred day for all veterans and sharing this episode with some fellow veterans that have seen more than most is a true honor. Happy Veterans Day to all veterans! My very close friend and fellow veteran Dominic was on the podcast. We recorded live during the presidential elections drank some beers and ate some food. Dominic really opened up about his military service and how he got his start in the military. He spent almost 20 years of his life in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Dominic and I share the same feelings towards the veteran community and organizations. They need to change their methods if nothing is working or there is no members.

Joe Wesner survived 37 IEDs and awarded 3 Purple Hearts. He is the president of Ultimate Veteran Adventures. Josh on left- 8 year Military Police- survived a mortar round blast that was uncomfortably close and he is the Vice President of Walleyes for Wounded Heroes. Josh and Joe are from Ohio and came on the podcast before our Duck hunt in Horicon, WI. They both share a huge passion for hunting and helping veterans in the process. they are great ambassadors to both the veteran and hunting communities.

Kyle spend the last 6 months as a nurse fighting COVID on the front lines and developed his own opinion and experiences. He has worked 1800 hours. Kyle shares his stories and the behind the scenes of the hospitals that the news media didn't report on. He shares the difficult parts of watching so much death everyday. Kyle is just 1 person that has served during COVID pandemic. these men and women deserve our respect and attention for what they did and the lives they saved.

Jay Blancas- Marine Veteran- 2x Afganistan veteran-MMA fighter and Veteran Advocate through Veteran with A sign Instagram page. Jay shares the page with his fellow veteran friend. You may have seen some of their signs and posts all over social media. They influence change, humor, and thought provoking ideas with cardboard signs.
