Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of faith—but it’s often where God does His deepest work. In this sermon from our current series Focus on the Fruit, we talk about trusting Jesus in the waiting and how peace, patience, and joy are formed when we choose relationship with God.

As we continue in our series Focus On The Fruit, we start where scripture starts—with love. In 1 John 4:10, we are reminded that love did not originate with us. Our love for God is a response to His pursuit of us. This message calls us to return to our first love—Jesus and explore what it means to truly pursue God.

A reminder that true focus starts with a healthy soul when we stay rooted in Jesus, the Spirit produces fruit and brings freedom. Real growth requires cutting away what contaminates the root so God can take His rightful place and bring order to our lives.

God’s strength meets us in the waiting. Whether we’re soaring, running or walking, Isaiah 40:31 shows that every season is sustained by His presence and perfect timing.

Christmas reminds us that Jesus Himself is the gift, present with us wherever we are because God didn’t wait for us to figure it out, but came to us while we were still pretending we had it all together.
