Paris is the city of love. The French people proudly consider themselves some of the world’s great romantics. But does that love extend to LGBTI people? France passed their marriage equality bill in 2013 but – just 5 years later in 2018 – the country had a record number of homophobic attacks. Is this just a blip or part of a worldwide trend driven by vocal extremists?
Theodore Thomasz is an 18-year-old student from a rural community in France. He channelled his frustrations with his own experiences at school to create an anti-homophobia short film targeting high school students. And it went viral!
