Por fin recibí la badge por mi segundo aniversario en Hive. El tiempo ha pasado volando, parece que fue ayer cuando decidí registrarme y comenzar a aprender de la mano de @universoperdido. Justamente me registré en la blockchain cuando está, estaba celebrando su primer aniversario. Y ahora, dos años después, miro hacia atrás y agradezco mucho por los momentos que he vivido, los primeros votos, los comentarios, las personas que he conocido, las desavenencias, los encuentros y las recompensas.

Nada de esto hubiera sido posible sin hacer comunidad. Día tras día construimos una plataforma que crece con nosotros, un ecosistema donde todos nos retroalimentamos. En días pasados, @eddiespino preguntaba en Twitter que cosas buenas nos había dejado crear contenido para Hive y esa pregunta me hizo reflexionar en que la mayoría de las cosas que he obtenido por estos lares no están relacionadas con las recompensas. De hecho, lo más invaluable que he encontrado en Hive son amistades.

Estrechar lazos con otros hivers, incentivar a otros a crear mejor contenido y crecer junto a todos ha sido la experiencia más enriquecedora. Estoy agradecido por estos dos primeros años y quiero apostar por el futuro, por todo lo que me falta por aprender y experimentar ¡Feliz segundo aniversario para mí! ¡Gracias Hive!

I finally received the badge for my second anniversary in Hive. Time has flown by, it seems like yesterday when I decided to register and start learning from @universoperdido. I just registered in the blockchain when it was celebrating its first anniversary. And now, two years later, I look back and I am very grateful for the moments I have lived, the first votes, the comments, the people I have met, the disagreements, the encounters and the rewards.

None of this would have been possible without making community. Day after day we build a platform that grows with us, an ecosystem where we all feed back. In recent days, @eddiespino asked on Twitter what good things had left us creating content for Hive and that question made me reflect on the fact that most of the things I've gotten from these places are not related to rewards. In fact, the most invaluable thing I have found in Hive is friendships.

Bonding with other hivers, encouraging others to create better content and growing with everyone has been the most enriching experience. I am grateful for these first two years and I want to bet on the future, for all that I have yet to learn and experience. Happy second anniversary to me, thank you Hive!

Today, to de-stress, I decided to comment on all the looks of the Champagne carpet of the Oscars 2023. And as you read this year, the carpet was not red, for the first time in history. However, this would be the only change that the last ceremony of the most important awards of the film industry suffered. The gala was monotonous, too long and with few surprises.

But, here we come to talk about fashion and we had a lot of it. Starting with the fact that this kind of events are special for the big fashion brands to show us their latest collections. This year there were no eccentricities, in fact, I think everything was more of the same: white and champagne were the predominant colors.

Last year's attempts to create a more modern show were discarded this 2023. There were few redeemable moments, I would dare to say that even the speeches were poor. No vindicative moments, nothing about social movements, climate or politics. The closest thing was that Alexei Navalny, the Russian dissident unjustly imprisoned for a few years, won the Oscar for his documentary "Nalvany" the only nod towards the war in Ukraine. It was an atypical ceremony spiced up by soundtrack music by Rihanna (looking gorgeous with her belly) and Lady Gaga.

In 2022 we even had a live slapping. This edition we didn't have that, it was us who had to slap ourselves to keep from falling asleep. But again, fashion-wise it was good, especially because it's exciting to see your favorite stars walk the carpet, as they show off their outfits. The men are always disappointing at these events, the outfits they usually wear are never too flashy and they don't make a fashion statement. Women give life to these catwalks with put together dresses, full of creativity and good taste.

In the end, this kind of events serve to live a moment of the year superficial and full of vanity, but necessary among so many problems. Because human beings need entertainment. And I need to talk about the best and the worst of the carpet, only focusing on fashion, of course, and not on people.

Hoy, para desestresarme, decidí comentar todos los looks de la alfombra Champán de los Óscar 2023. Y pues como lo leíste este año, la alfombra no fue roja, por primera vez en la historia. Sin embargo, esto sería el único cambio que sufrió la última ceremonia de los premios más importantes de la industria cinematográfica. La gala fue monótona, demasiado larga y con pocas sorpresas.

Pero, aquí se viene a hablar de moda y vaya que tuvimos mucho de eso. Empezando porque esté tipo de eventos son especiales para que las grandes firmas de la moda nos muestren sus últimas colecciones. Este año no abundaron las excentricidades, de hecho, creo que todo fue más de lo mismo: blanco y champán fueron los colores que predominaron.

Los intentos el año pasado, por crear un show más moderno fueron desechados este 2023. Hubo pocos momentos rescatables, me atrevería a decir que hasta los discursos estuvieron pobres. Nada de momentos reivindicativos, nada de movimientos sociales, clima o política. Lo más cercano fue que Alexei Navalny, el disidente ruso injustamente encarcelado desde hace unos años, ganara el Óscar por su documental “Nalvany” el único guiño hacia la guerra en Ucrania. Fue una ceremonia atípica aderezada por música de soundtrack por Rihanna (que luce bellísima con su barriga) y Lady Gaga.

En 2022 tuvimos hasta una cachetada en vivo. Esta edición no tuvimos eso, fuimos nosotros lo que tuvimos que cachetearnos para no dormirnos. Pero de nuevo les digo que en cuanto a moda sí estuvo bien, sobre todo porque es emocionante ver a tus estrellas favoritas pasear por la alfombra, mientras lucen sus outfits. Los hombres siempre son decepcionantes en estos eventos, nunca son demasiado vistosos los trajes que suelen llevar y no imponen moda. Las mujeres dan vida a estas pasarelas con vestidos armados, llenos de creatividad y buen gusto.

Al final, este tipo de eventos sirven para vivir un momento del año superficial y lleno de vanidad, pero necesario entre tantos problemas. Porque el ser humano necesita entretenimiento. Y yo necesito hablar de lo mejor y lo peor de la alfombra, solo enfocándome en la moda, por supuesto y no en las personas.

Me quedé corto, quería hablar de muchísimas cosas que no entiendo de Hive, pero puede que haya otra parte. No quería hablar de lo malo, a pesar de todo Hive es una plataforma de gente maravillosa, que de vez en cuando me da mucho drama del que me gusta. No podemos tomarnos la vida tan en serio, aunque a veces sí que pasan cosas locas, Hive es como la vida misma.

Nunca me ha da dado pena hacer el ridículo, siempre me he tomado la vida con alegría. Disfruto cuando otros se ríen, así que con este video no pretendo herir susceptibilidades, pero si lo hace les dejo mi cuenta en Twitter @franchalad, allí podemos conversarlo. Por último, también pueden hacer su versión del trend de “cosas que no entiendo de”, hay tantas cosas que decir en un minuto.

Yo por ejemplo he elegido las cosas que no entiendo de Hive, pero tengo una larga lista de cosas que sigo sin entender de la vida. Y es que no podemos, aunque queramos, comprenderlo todo y creo que ese es el secreto de la vida. That was an understatement, I wanted to talk about a lot of things I don't understand about Hive, but there may be another part. I didn't want to talk about the bad, in spite of everything Hive is a platform of wonderful people, which from time to time gives me a lot of drama that I like. We can't take life so seriously, although sometimes crazy things do happen, Hive is like life itself.

Hace unos días, subimos otro cerro. Y es que la comunidad de @hivevalencia, sigue fomentando las actividades de senderismo, sobre todo en una ciudad como Valencia, que está rodeada de varios cerros. Lo cierto es que nuestra última cita, fue en el Cerro Kairoi, ubicado en mi hermoso municipio San Diego. El día que elegimos fue el martes de carnavales, sobre todo porque ese día yo no trabajaba y podíamos disfrutarlo muchísimo.

Pero, subir a una hora poco recomendada, hizo mella en nosotros, puesto que el sol de ese día era poco menos que infernal. Sin embargo, nos quedamos con lo bueno, con las hermosas postales que nos dejó este recorrido y con varias anécdotas, unas más agradables que otras. Me encantó ver a personas de todas las edades haciendo senderismo, sobre todo porque somos los jóvenes a los que parece costarnos más, subir una montaña.

Por supuesto, seguiremos relatando aventuras, ya que el grupo de hivers del Estado Carabobo cada día es más grande. Lo mejor siempre está por venir, estoy seguro de que vendrán nuevos cerros, nuevas aventuras y también otros desencuentros, pero así es la vida. Y como dicen por ahí: el que tenga miedo de vivir, que no viva. Yo elijo vivir.

A few days ago, we climbed another hill. And is that the community of @hivevalencia continues to promote hiking activities, especially in a city like Valencia, which is surrounded by several hills. The truth is that our last appointment was in Cerro Kairoi, located in my beautiful municipality of San Diego. The day we chose was the Tuesday of Carnival, especially because that day I was not working and we could enjoy it very much.

But, going up at a not very recommended time, made a dent in us, since the sun that day was a little less than hellish. However, we kept the good things, with the beautiful postcards that this tour left us and with several anecdotes, some more pleasant than others. I was delighted to see people of all ages hiking, especially because we young people seem to have a harder time climbing a mountain.

Of course, we will continue to report adventures, since the group of hivers in Carabobo State is getting bigger every day. The best is always to come, I am sure that new hills will come, new adventures, and also other misunderstandings, but that's life. And as they say: he who is afraid of living, don't live. I choose to live.

Hace una semana, un grupo de Hivers del estado Carabobo, nos pusimos como tarea subir el Cerro El Café, un importante pulmón natural de la ciudad de Valencia cuyo recorrido es de aproximadamente 13 Kilómetros.

Por supuesto, esta actividad no fue algo aislado o improvisado, de hecho, hace parte de un compendio de actividades diseñado para pasar tiempo juntos y hacer crecer a la comunidad de Hive. @juniorgomez, @lunaticanto, @yonilkar, @universoperdido, @soy-laloreto @wilfredojgf, @orita, @alejandroloreto e @iritere, forman parte de este equipo que hemos conformado.

Fue una experiencia increíble a pesar de la falta de agua y un hecho que nos ocurrió bajando (y del que se van a enterar si ven el video en su totalidad), probablemente la volvería a repetir. Lo mejor de este tipo de actividades, es poder compartir con nuestros queridos compañeros y pasar tiempo de calidad.

El recorrido valió la pena a cada instante, sobre todo cuando llegas a la cima y puedes respirar el aire puro. La hermosa vista que te ofrece la naturaleza y algunas postales hermosas que ofrece Valencia, hacen de esta experiencia algo que recomendaría muchísimo. Me encantan este tipo de actividades, porque siento que conectar con la naturaleza es algo que necesitamos.

Pasamos demasiado tiempo sumergidos en las redes sociales y nos olvidamos que también tenemos un espíritu y que debemos alimentarlo. Por último, no se olviden de comentar que les pareció el video, no soy un editor profesional, pero se hace lo que se puede.

A week ago, a group of Hivers from the state of Carabobo set ourselves the task of climbing Cerro El Café, an important natural lung of the city of Valencia whose route is approximately 13 kilometres long.

Of course, this activity was not something isolated or improvised, in fact, it is part of a compendium of activities designed to spend time together and grow the Hive community. Juniorgomez, @lunaticanto, @yonilkar, @universoperdido, @soy-laloreto @wilfredojgf, @orita, @alejandroloreto and @iritere, are part of this team that we have formed.

It was an incredible experience despite the lack of water and an event that happened to us on the way down (which you will find out about if you watch the video in its entirety), I would probably repeat it again. The best thing about this type of activity is being able to share with our dear companions and spend quality time.

The hike was worth every moment, especially when you reach the top and can breathe the fresh air. The beautiful view that nature offers you and some beautiful postcards that Valencia has to offer, make this experience something I would highly recommend. I love this kind of activities, because I feel that connecting with nature is something we need.

We spend too much time immersed in social media and we forget that we also have a spirit and we need to feed it. Finally, don't forget to comment on what you thought of the video, I'm not a professional editor, but I do what I can.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to climb the Cerro El Casupo Municipal Park and I took the task of recording everything I could to present a video with all the incidents. The truth is that my editing skills are really archaic, so I hope you like the video.

This experience is something that everyone should experience, climbing any mountain and getting in direct contact with nature is magical. In this case I thought about it a lot, because my physical condition is maybe not the best for this kind of activities. But, once at the top, you forget all the sacrifice you made to go up.

The view is simply beautiful and at the last stop a cozy place with several benches awaits you, to enjoy the view and rest a bit. In fact, I had already talked about this experience in another post, but I wanted to edit most of the videos I made and make a sort of compilation.

But, in the process, I took forever. This is because I wasn't sure about the video, the sound was very low and I had to figure out how to make the final result at least presentable. I hope you enjoy it!

Hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de subir al Parque Municipal Cerro El Casupo y me di la tarea de grabar todo lo que pude para presentar un vídeo con todas las incidencias. La verdad es que mis habilidades de edición son realmente arcaicas, así que espero que les guste el vídeo.

Esta experiencia es algo que todo el mundo debe experimentar, subir cualquier montaña y entrar en contacto directo con la naturaleza es mágico. En este caso lo pensé muchísimo, debido a que mi condición física quizás no es la mejor para este tipo de actividades. Pero, una vez arriba, olvidas todo el sacrificio que hiciste para subir.

La vista es sencillamente hermosa y en la última parada te espera un sitio acogedor con varios bancos, para disfrutar de la vista y descansar un poco. De hecho, ya había hablado sobre esta experiencia en otro post, pero quería editar la mayor parte de los vídeos que realicé y hacer una especie de recopilación.

Pero, en el proceso, me he tardado muchísimo. Esto debido a que no estaba seguro del vídeo, el sonido era muy bajo y tuve que ingeniármelas para conseguir que el resultado final fuera por lo menos presentable. ¡Espero que lo disfruten!

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Hive creators day in Valencia. Since I saw the announcement on Twitter, I knew it was going to be a great opportunity to establish links with other users. That's how I was able to meet amazing people, who are actively working for the community.

The truth was that I promised to record a video for 3Speak after winning a special microphone to record videos and well, the thing was complicated because my cords made my life impossible, but it's never too late to start creating content on Hive, in any of its platforms. Convinced of that, I hope you like it and forgive me for the mistakes with the editing.

I wanted to do miracles, thank goodness I got a tweet in recommendations, with the video of @grisvisa explaining how he records and how he edits, which was a great help. I promise to improve my editing skills in a future opportunity.

Hace unos días, tuve el placer de asistir al Hive creators day en Valencia. Desde que vi el anuncio en Twitter, supe que iba a ser una gran oportunidad para establecer lazos con otros usuarios. Fue así como pude conocer a personas increíbles, que trabajan activamente en pro de la comunidad.

Lo cierto fue que prometí grabar un vídeo para 3Speak después de ganarme un micrófono especial para grabar videos y buenos, la cosa estaba complicada porque mis cordales me hicieron la vida imposible, pero nunca es tarde para comenzar a crear contenido en Hive, en cualquiera de sus plataformas. Convencido de eso, espero que les guste y me perdonen los errores con la edición.

Quise hacer milagros, menos mal me salió un tuit en recomendaciones, con el vídeo de @grisvisa explicando cómo graba y como edita, que me fue de gran ayuda. Prometo mejorar mis habilidades de edición en una próxima oportunidad.
