Franchise Fatigue

We review the third film in the rebooted X-Men universe. Apocalypse recieved mix reviews from critics, but Gabriel believes it's worth another look.

Great direction from returning director Bryan Singer, excellent performances and a unique villain make this a very solid entry into the franchise.

Gabriel is joined by Gene Gosewehr to review John Wick Chapter 2, AKA the ballet of headshots and blood.

A fantastic action film that is a refreshing reminder of what good action looks like in a Hollywood obsessed with shaky-cam and quick-cuts.

We review the final chapter in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit Trilogy, The Battle of the Five Armies. We examine in detail all the things that Jackson and Co. got right in this film, as well as honestly dealing with it's flaws.

Ultimately we believe the good vastly outweighs the bad, and we hope you will listen and come away with a deeper appreciation for these movies both as good films and as adaptations.
