Franchise Me: The Search for the Ultimate Movie Franchise

Welcome back to Franchise Me! This week we continue our conversation about the "Fast" Franchise as we discuss the fourth film "Fast and Furious." In this episode we crack open the coronas to celebrate the reunion of our favorite crew and talk about the serious tone of the film, the intense action sequences, some of the questionable dialogue, and Andrew pitches why this is possibly the most necessary entry in the franchise. We also discuss the short film "Los Bandoleros" that was directed and co-written by Vin Diesel and set right before the start of the fourth movie. Next Week we hit the half-way point of the series and break down the much anticipated "Fast Five." Hello everybody! This is an introduction episode for our new podcast "Franchise Me" where two friends go on a search for the ultimate movie franchise. In this episode we introduce ourselves, talk about our experience (spoilers: we have none), name a few of our favorite franchises, and discuss some of the surprising gaps we have in our franchise knowledge. Starting in September we will be releasing weekly episodes talking about a different film in a franchise starting with the "Fast" franchise. We hope you give us a chance and come along on this not so wild ride.
