On this weeks episode of Scale Up Radio I’m joined by Lynsey Le Keux.

Lynsey is the owner of Le Keux Vintage, a specialist vintage event company. They offer experience events themed around the 1950s from make up and hairstyles to full blown time-warp experience packages that embody everything we love about 1950’s America – think American diners, Happy Days, Greece, rock and roll. 

Lynsey started Le Keux Vintage back in 2007 and like many startup businesses this was supported initially by a full time day job and working evenings taking backdrops and various props to clients houses and other venues before Lynsey took the plunge and went full time with her business. 

Over the years Lynsey has extended the business model to include their own venues for themed parties and events, full makeovers, a range of vintage cosmetic products on a subscription basis and latterly into offering Le Keux franchises.

Join myself and Lynsey as we explore the highs and lows of her scaleup journey so far. We discuss the key milestones and challenges along the way, and where she got things right and where she feels she didn’t – including a discussion around the decision to franchise the business.
