The girls sing their way into this week's pastry episode. After a brief discussion about vocal fry, Allison bemoans the week's frangipane signature as unnecessary.  Lisa then recalls making it herself - with a 'meh'.

This week's Phyllo dough technical has both girls raving about how good homemade spanokopita is. Lisa then explains why HER homemade phyllo dough days are far behind her. With Gill coming last in the technical, the girls discuss the merits of Gill's other bakes and wonder why she didn't receive a Hollywood handshake. The Paris-brest showstopper challenge gets dissected thoroughly,  and,  Lisa shares that the one she tasted in Mexico wasn't worth the calories.  Allison brings up Nelly's unusual clothing and affect in this episode, and Lisa shares that she, and the entire internet are still very much pro-Nelly.  Pastry week!
