Food writer and former Master Chef contestant Hetal Vasavada joins the girls for a very special episode. Hetal explains her connection to Challenge Butter, and the Cookies for Kids' Cancer campaign taking place through December. Lisa asks about the importance of butter in baking, and shares her own recent shortbread success. Lisa asks Hetal about her time in London, and if she knows GBBO baker Rahul. The girls kick off this episode coughing, hacking and blowing. The discussion goes to the internet and Lisa relays however one is talking about this season's GBBO, and that perhaps Alison Hammond has something to do with it.  The girls bring up Jeff, the eliminated American, and Lisa refers to him as Terry.  Allison shares that she has been looking at adopting a shelter cat who goes by two completely unrelated names.  Allison declares that Dylan wasn't very likeable in the last several episodes despite his Disney hero looks.  The girls discuss his failures in this final, and how he was the clear loser.  A controversial crown to Georgie has Lisa and Allison wondering about the overlooking of Christiaan as this season's Lisa winner. Lisa and Allison finish the episode by heaping praise on their beloved Great British Baking Show.

Lisa's daughter Sophie joins the girls for a semi-final breakdown. With a patisserie themed episode, the girls first break down the meaning, and talk about the signature overnight dough. Allison brings up Christiaan's rhubarb saffron flavored bake and Sophie shares the process for growing rhubarb commercially.  The women break down Dylan's performance as a bake-off finalist, and applaud the efforts of all the bakers in a true showstopper of excellence.

An interesting 70's theme inspires the girls to speak about their experiences in the decade they were born into. A signature choux challenge was Lisa repeating the episodes puns, and remarking on Dylan's handshake from Hollywood. 

Once again Allison disparages the banoffee pie as a technical, and once again, Lisa disagrees.  Lisa shares that she has made the Paul Hollywood banoffee, and gives it a chef's kiss. With minimal discussion of the episode's showstoppers, the girls slip down multiple side streets of memories from raising themselves in the 1970's.

A first ever autumn episode is seasonally released, and it's something to sing about!  Lisa and Allison discuss the difference between American pies and British pies. Lisa then shares the story of her own perfect piecrust, and gives out her  'Cheryl White' piecrust recipe.

A vegan bonfire night cake technical is regarded as 'easy' by the girls, and, how easy it is to forget an ingredient.  Allison brings up the meaning of bonfire night celebrations, and Lisa inserts a history lesson. The girls weigh-in on the vegetable laden show stopper, and, relish Sumaya's Hollywood handshake!  The emotional exit by Lisa's favorite baker brings lots of discussion on the inner workings of the show, and, once again whether the right person got sent home.

The girls sing their way into this week's pastry episode. After a brief discussion about vocal fry, Allison bemoans the week's frangipane signature as unnecessary.  Lisa then recalls making it herself - with a 'meh'.

This week's Phyllo dough technical has both girls raving about how good homemade spanokopita is. Lisa then explains why HER homemade phyllo dough days are far behind her. With Gill coming last in the technical, the girls discuss the merits of Gill's other bakes and wonder why she didn't receive a Hollywood handshake. The Paris-brest showstopper challenge gets dissected thoroughly,  and,  Lisa shares that the one she tasted in Mexico wasn't worth the calories.  Allison brings up Nelly's unusual clothing and affect in this episode, and Lisa shares that she, and the entire internet are still very much pro-Nelly.  Pastry week!

The girls start the show getting right into the signature bakes from this week's carmel episode.  Lisa shares her own millionaire's shortbread bake and how Georgie and Andy each made a familiar candy bar.  With an iconic French tarte tatin technical, both Lisa and Allison discard the challenge as "not great", and
