When I started my Anchor podcast one of my intentions was to use it as a way of updating patrons on my projects and reveal some of the thoughts that go into the creation process. I don't know exactly how this will turn out, but I plan on posting these audio journal entries for patrons first and then assembling them into a regular design diary. This one was recorded as a stream of consciousness during my morning commute. I tried to edit it down to a reasonable length and take out a lot of the really obvious side adventures that really didn't seem to go anywhere.

I love using published adventures but one of the things that frustrates me about them is the amount of prep that I need to do when I'm getting ready to run a game, but for the most part, there's a limited amount of information that you need for running the game at the table. Does a published adventure need to have a high word count or could an adventure really just be a series of notes?

In this Microburst I start a micro review of the Otter Voice Notes app. Otter is a "smart note-taking and collaboration app" that records your voice notes and conversations and also transcribes those notes for later use.
