Kathleen Trefethen, a local supporter of the Change the Flag movement  introduces organization founder David Detmold who then walks through a few slides depicting some of the changes to the seal & flag over the years before 1898. The current image has not changed since then.

Discussion on the process for selecting priorities among the recommendations (or in addition to) by the committee members as a way of prioritizing the Towns work overall. Not everything can be done, but if everyone uses 3 priorities, they can bubble up what should be worked first, etc.

Meeting scheduled for Aug 10, 6 PM to do the prioritization. This was selected inlight of the MAPC report due at the end of June, time to digest, should also have the final requirements coming from the State on the MBTA community incentives by that time as well.

The meeting approved the minutes of the prior meeting via roll call vote (8-0-1; 8 for, 0 against, 1 absent). 

With some discussion on the overall plan, the committee then voted on each of the resolutions which passed with the same 8-0-1 vote via roll call.

a. Resolution 22-36: FY23 CPA Reservations (Budget)

b. Resolution 22-37: FY23 CPC Appropriation of Capital Funds (Project Recommendations)

c. Resolution 33-38: CPC Appropriation of Funds - Debt Service Maple Hill Land

There may not be a need to meet until September or later. With the new fiscal year, and the rolling project form, someone could propose something at any time. Once they did, it would be scheduled for a meeting.

The update was discussed but not shared with the public participants as it was still an early draft. Feedback was taken by the Chair, who will continue to fine tune the draft with Central Office members. The presentation doc may not be released prior to the meeting.
