Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you... We are beginning a new series that will continue through the month of June looking at the persons of the Trinity! These first two weeks will be looking at the Holy Spirit as we prepare for Pentecost, the day in the church calendar where the disciples in the upper room received the Holy Spirit and went out into all the world proclaiming the Good News about Jesus! This week, we will unpack the Spirit in the Old Testament.

John 14:23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching." We are finishing up our Easter Challenge series this weekend at the Vineyard. This week, we will focus on "The Journey Forward." This section is all about our callings and responsibilities and how we live our lives on a mission for God! Pastor Jon will close us out, and we will also be having a little gift for all of our graduates!

Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. We are continuing our Easter Challenge series this weekend at the Vineyard! This week, we'll look at the mission to reach others! Pastor Jon will be talking about how God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. We all have a sphere of influence, a place that the Lord has put us in, to reach people for the Kingdom of God! God desires that all people be saved, and He has entrusted us with this opportunity to reach others. As Christians, we are all called to be witnesses, partnering with the Spirit, in going out into the world. People are hungry for the real thing.

Acts 2:42 The Message They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. It's Mother's Day! We're continuing our Easter Challenge series by continuing our conversation we had last week about the need for church life. Pastor Jon will be speaking on the family of God and why it's important for us to see each other as siblings in Christ. The saying goes, "You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family." And that's absolutely true. In the family of God, everyone has a part to play, and we have to continue to be devoted to one another and to the mission of God.

Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. We are continuing our "Easter Challenge" series, and Pastor Jon is going to be speaking on the importance of church community, loving one another and serving God. We need the church just like the church needs us, and the more that we understand our role in the church, the healthier the church will be (and by association, we also become healthier!). God designed us to be in community, to love and serve one another, and the church is the best place for us to plug in. We learn who we are and are able to use our God-given talents and resources to enable the church to be all that the church is called to be!

We are continuing in our series, The Easter Challenge, by looking at the truth of God's Word. Michael speaks on "what" the Bible is and "how" we can read the Bible better as the people of God.

We are starting a new series, The Easter Challenge, and we are encouraging everyone to take steps in their faith in Jesus for the next 30 days! Pastor Jon begins our series by looking at the Resurrection of Jesus and how the disciples proclaimed "wow." We all need "wow" moments in our lives, and Jesus has come to breathe life into us today. 

We are finishing up our series in the Gospel of John this week! Hasn't this been a great discussion? We've looked at the feeding of the 5,000, the man born blind, the centurion's son, walking on water, water into wine, and the healing at Bethesda. All of these stories show the kind of Savior that Jesus is, and they reveal God's redemptive plan for humanity.

We are continuing in our series in the Gospel of John looking at the seven signs of Jesus' ministry. Jesus performed all these miracles so that people would believe (and keep on believing), and this amazing story in chapter nine shows that Jesus both forgives and heals.

We continue in our study in the Gospel of John, and this week, we look at Jesus walking on water! It's an amazing story of how Jesus appears to the disciples in their distress. 

Jesus doesn't simply calm the storm (as he does in the other gospel accounts). He comes to the disciples in their fears and worries to offer his presence and help.
