Happy Holidays Friends and Family! I spent overnight in Gettysburg this past weekend to see the Christmas lights and visit the historical sites. I spent more time in the antique stores and many taverns and bars! It was a fun weekend nonetheless. :)  In the second part of the podcast, I talk briefly about Christmas cards, holiday shopping and finally those pop-up gift stores that my brother, sister and I went to as very young kids to buy my parents Christmas gifts. They were in the mall or a department store. Such good memories all triggered by a trinket I saw at one of the antique stores. Hope you enjoy and are getting ready for the holidays! 

In Episode #16, Marc discusses the tradition of giving to charity during the holidays. He first discusses "donating" in someone's name. One should take into account what charities they would like if you are donating in their name. Second, Marc goes through three articles on what are the worst and best charities to give to. Also, a couple tips to consider when giving. Lastly, Marc goes local and promotes donating to local charities in terms of not only money, but also goods and time. 

For Marc's 15th podcast, he reminds us that Tuesday was "Giving Tuesday" but we should try give to charity throughout the year as well. He also takes a moment to remember Jared Hain and Chris Dwyer, two lives lost over the Thanksgiving holiday. Chris was one of Marc's best friends during his "waiter" days in Philly during the late 90s. Chris and Jared will both be so missed by their friends and family. In the third part of the podcast, Marc recounts some tongue-in-cheek wisdom that he learned this past week while cabin-camping. There was a funk, a skunk, and a bunk(bed). ;) 

In the second of a series of interviews with strong career and family oriented women, Marc interviews his friend Rita Booth who juggles her career as an HR rep with being a strong mama and wife! She talks at length about the strong female influences she grew up with as well as the influences of her Cuban ancestry. She truly is an extraordinary person and friend! 

For Marc's 13th Episode, he discusses a grab bag of topics ranging from getting the yard ready for the Fall and Winter, the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and traditions, and finally, makes an announcement about bartending. Hope you enjoy! 

Marc explores two topics this evening. With the first topic, he talks about voting tonight in the midterm elections and recounts how several years ago he was voter #666 and cast the "devil's vote" in his local election. In the second topic, Marc's car broke down last week and as he believes, his guardian angel helped him get the ride home he needed! But that ride home first involved a pit-stop at the pediatrician. In episode #11, Marc first recounts more of his trip north to Vermont and New Hampshire where he drank beer, ate cheese, wings, anything maple syrup flavored and then consumed 1 large lobster ... but no cider donuts! He then discusses how we tend to put too much on our plates and feel like we lose control of our lives. What can we do to get it back? He gives some suggestions on how he is dealing with this. Enjoy! 

Marc recaps his vacation up to New England which included more beer and cheese than anything else. He then spends most of the podcast going through a rambling list of 30+ things he feels are worthwhile investments, intrinsic and extrinsic, along with his normal neurotic take on each. Enjoy! 

For his 9th Podcast, Marc goes back and first adds on two more embarrassing events from this childhood just to help let you understand how neurotic he is. Next, Marc talks about his travel quirks. Lastly, he expounds on the virtues of the Poo-pouri bathroom spray. He gets it and LOVES IT!

Marc recaps his 30th high school reunion the weekend before. He then dives into what his "new normal" is at 48 which includes various annoyances afflicting those of a certain age. Not a list of complaints per se, but a list of annoyances you can all commiserate with him about! Pity also helps. :)
