I also briefly remembered that I do, in fact, own a bakery business and should probably get my ass back over to the Amy’s Sweet & Savory Facebook page and remind everyone that it still exists. 🤣

Basically, this episode is just conversation. No big lesson. No perfectly organized topic. Just everyday life, family, business, chaos, and me talking like you’re sitting across the table from me.

This week is a little bit of everything—which honestly feels pretty damn accurate for Freckles & Chaos.

We're talking Walmart finally getting tap to pay, people who abandon shopping carts, littering assholes, conversations with my grandkids, what my kids apparently think about me, football season turning me into a "little gambler," and why Ja'Marr Chase needs to stop personally ruining my bets.

But somewhere between football, family, work, and everyday chaos, this episode gets into the real reason I'm trying to build something different. 

I don't want to spend my entire life working just to someday have time to live it.

I want more time with my kids. More time with my grandkids. The freedom to take a weekend without work deciding whether we can go. And enough financial breathing room that we're not working ourselves into the ground for the people we barely have time to enjoy.

So yes—I'm learning the podcast, social media, the bakery, digital products, affiliate marketing, dropshipping, and whatever other crazy idea I come up with next. 

I'm going to figure this shit out.

I spent so much of my life taking care of everyone else that I don't know if I ever stopped to figure out who I am.

I went from being a kid... to being a mom. Then a grandma. I've spent my whole life busting my ass, surviving, taking care of everyone, and now suddenly... we're empty nesters. 

And for the first time in my life, nobody needs me every second of the day.
