New Jail Site 19 acres along Detroit Ave. to Alexis Rd in Toledo. The plan is building on the 5700 block of North Detroit Ave. The jail will have a capacity of 650 people and be both sentenced inmates and people with pending court cases. There is an open house the anyone who wants to learn more about the jail and have questions. The open house is set for 6-8pm on February 7th at the Lucas County Emergency Medical Services building located at 2127 Jefferson Ave.

Toledo City Council member and Equality Toledo executive director Nick Komives is in to talk about the old Bretz Nightclub and what's been going on with the location. A church called ‘Greater Toledo House of Prayer’ bought the former nightclub on Adams. The church did not mention any views on anything to do with the LGBT, despite reported affiliations with a national group that opposes same-sex relationships.
