What happens when the drive and the fire that resides in you goes brittle and the fire that burns seems to dwindle away? People think when it comes to music-It's glamorous how we go from being basically nobodies into somebodies when in reality theres artist that don't say anything... or if they did... It was ONE LINE THAT CAUGHT SOMEBODIES ATTENTION. How fast we deliberately give an audience of lesser attentive minds a chance to believe that we are the ones that are truly deserving. A cop saved Lil Wayne. People are struggling else where and tbh I think the things we glorify and want recognition for we never really seem to value it without a sensation of pride. Being a good person isn't just about performative behavior. I tend to believe it is a little bit more. And when the curtains close and you're home after your first sets of adrenaline rushes are gone, I think we remember just how human we are. Artists going to jail for making basic human errors. Some people just believe they're above things... Ironically the program. People go oh this person just wants to be famous. Honestly, I believe those who want fame need understanding on how to maintain it. Too many people dont have identities. Then again, as humans we feed off of knowledge given to us. We used to idolize these human beings. Forgetting we are really just human as they are. So what happens when the drive and the fire that resides in you goes brittle and the fire that burns seems to dwindle away? Who are you at the end of the day? I'd rather be the guy that says something and nothing of substance with intention of awakening and truth. Even where my previous self was so keen on proof of my legitimacy who remembers when that fire first was invented. Music doesn't make you a rockstar. You either are or you are. Without a microphone. To the nurse who saved that child. Thank you. To the mailman who delivers great news. Thank you. To the person who gave you your first couple of steps and giving a footing thank you. To the previous rappers who have came and went thank you for being the spark and Lastly, God bless and thank you GOD. We are all humans here for what is a speck of a second. Lets be glad that in our exsistence we are reminded that the fire is what we are and who we are. It isn't what others perceive and it also is where truth still resides in sincerity. We want the chicks, the blow up and nobody really understands really it truly is God that adds wealth unlike the world. Even when the money, flows and everything else in life is in alignment with God we learn to be honestly our very best in every action, decision and opportunity that presents itself infront of us.
