2024 has been a terrible year for book bans. If we don't keep on top of it, 2025 could be even worse. Philomena Polefrone from ABA's Advocacy team and American Booksellers for Free Expression explains which legislative trends from 2024 could continue in 2025 and raises the alarm about a pre-filed bill in Texas for 2025. What you can do now is start preparing to testify against book ban bills that could be introduced in your state next year.
