This week, Laney Hawes from the Texas Freedom to Read Project is back to talk about what lawmakers are cooking up in Texas to attack the freedom to read in the 2025 legislative session. Spoiler: it doesn't look good. Even if you're not in Texas, don't skip this one: we've seen what happens there set the agenda for other states in years to come, and some of these laws threaten to set new legal precedent if challenged.
