Hey friend, If I read that title - and I did read many like these, I wouldn’t have believed it. But I’m a marketing consultant and I manage a lot of marketing aspects for my clients online - from ads to funnels to social media. Hi my beautiful friends, I’m so excited for this episode and this topic. It’s probably one of the most frequent questions I get and it’s so valid and a question I’ve asked myself a lot too.

So I’m really excited to dive into this topic because my answer is not what you probably expect and also not something I’ve heard anyone talk candidly about, although I know most successful entrepreneurs I love had this approach in their business for a while (based on their own stories).

How to take the pressure and fear out of starting an online business

Starting an online business usually  starts with a dream or desire for what this business will create in our lives. It feels good and exciting this is often quickly followed by searching within what we have to offer

This is the good stuff. Where all dreams ignite.

Then it’s time to decide some things, and this where pressure and fear comes in. So let’s name it and work through it together

I started this episode with a different topic in mind but my intuition led me here and I'm not surprised, because it's been a topic on my heart that I've personally struggled with. We have all the world at our finger tips and we can find amazing women online that running businesses like ours, living freedom lives and having it all. We feel inspired and motivated but then comparison kicks in and the flood of limiting believes takes over. We feel less than, and the ifs come in - if I had her video equipment, if I looked like, spoke like her, had her house, her talent, her money, etc etc.

Maybe the next think you'll do is delete social media. I've done that too. But then I found a way to empower myself through the story of other women online, because most people are good and most of these women put themselves out there with the core mission to empower me.  I decided that's what I'll let it do for me. In this episode I share with you more.

It's the most raw and personal yet and I too hope it inspires and empowers you.

I started freelancing straight after graduating University, before I got a corporate job. But I struggled for the first 4.5 years and a half and had to get a job twice to make money on the side of my business. But in 2016, just as I was about to get married, I knew something in me shifted and I was ready to thrive. I believed it so much that without any backup plan I quit my job on my honeymoon and decided that no matter what my freelance business is going to replace my income. And it did. It replaced it by the time the next month's paycheque was meant to come in and within a few months I tripled it. Listen in to see what I did differently to make it happen.
