We talk about what parenting his daughter has been like for him: communicating with her, managing her internet use, and what it is like being the father of a daughter who has a boyfriend. If given the chance, she would have lived in the British Museum. She had to settle for having her name hand carved in stone as a small donor instead. Her and her patient husband Mike have lived in a multitude of places, including little Rhody.

On this episode, I spoke w/ a UX designer from Atlanta, Georgia. Back in March 2020, she anticipated the coronavirus' impact and decided to leave NYC and move to Austin, TX with her significant other. While she loves Austin, she hopes that w/ the sudden influx of movers, that it will be able to maintain its sense of southern community. With the recent Winter storm, she saw first hand the empathy that her neighbors had for each other.

On this episode, I spoke w/ Forrest, a Virginian and Carrie, a Houstonian who currently live in Austin, TX. Forrest is working towards his Bio-Mechanics certification and hopes to train people through the emerging practice of Functional Patterns (FP). Carrie, a finance analyst, is a fellow lover of comedy, and almost took up my invite to see Kill Tony. We all grabbed drinks instead later on. These two are lovely people, who were so welcoming to me during my Austin visit.
