When we slow down and ponder Scripture, we find a large contingent of people never being named in the Bible, but through whom God in His providence were used to propel the redemptive purpose of God forward.

Oh Lord let me be one of Thy unnamed slaves so tasked with a small part in the spread of the gospel, the maturation of the saints, and Thy glory.

In our Christian life,

Waiting is often the hardest thing.

Tragedies are often the hardest thing.

Faith is often the hardest thing.

Scripture is replete with dramatic examples of;

Rescue from the depths, as deep as we can imagine, 

to miraculous results, which give the highest glory to God, and as the narrator of the hobbit says, or close to what he said,

 You decide at the end of this episode whether or not for these people it was worth the wait.
