FREE TIER FOOTBALL TALK: An NFL Humor Podcast

Matt Miller has been following the NFL Draft for years, but like a lot of online writers, had trouble finding an audience. Today, he's one of the leading prospectors of the NFL draft, and a fellow lead writer of Zerkle's at Bleacher Report. Miller discussed his start in football scouting and who he's watching for the 2012 draft. And Miller deserves enormous credit for stepping into the dojo and playing "Draft Pick...or Registered Sex Offender?" against the HOUSE OF PUNTE crew.

Matt Miller's Sportswriter Profile [Bleacher Report]

Recorded 9.7.11 with Amber Jones, Aaron Merrill,  and Shakey. Episode 90.

It's a "make-up" show, as we'll have another podcast for you tomorrow. Samer Kalaf, a recent college grad and my old stagehand from WL drops in. I did the news, and Shakey had a fun rant about his 97-year-old grandmother having a heart attack. Amber Jones joins us as well. Taped 8.21.2011. Episode 88.

Recorded August 10, 2011. Interview taped June 23, 2011. Episode 87 with Josh Zerkle, Aaron Merrill (news) and Phil Raintree (Old Timey newsreel)

Recorded July 27, 2011. Patrick Willis interview recorded June 16, 2011. Episode 85. Runs 72 minutes.

Vikings punter Chris Kluwe stopped in the dōjō last night; it was the first time we've had an NFL starter "live" for a podcast recording. Kluwe has been outspoken on recent NFL policies and the recent CBA negotiations, and we asked him about that and a few other things.

We also spoke with HOUSE OF PUNTE legal analyst Matt DeTura, who discusses the NFL CBA and gives some great-if-a-bit-dated insight into the Roger Clemens mistrial and Casey Anthony verdict.
